The ceiling lights in my Class C RV were just not bright enough for me, so I wanted to upgrade to LEDs. Initially I bought a set of LED bulbs that I swapped out the incandescent 1141 lamps with. It did make an immediate difference, but it still wasn’t as bright as I needed. I decided to buy this set of new fixtures, which include the dual LED panels. I liked the fact that the switch can operate either one light or both lights, so I could adjust the intensity of each fixture. The lights were very easy to install. I replaced the four ceiling lamps in my main living area in just over 1/2 hour. Wow – these are very bright lamps! Even if I just use one lamp per fixture,the inside of my RV is nice and bright. I like the color balance of the light, too. The LED bulbs I had purchased before were 6000k bright xenon white,which gave a harsh, cold light These fixtures are bright but much more natural and pleasant. I would absolutely recommend these for your camper or RV.

I really wanted to love these lights. They have so much going for them…..good quality….super bright….tiny power draw…easy to install. However, the lens it totally wrong for the led’s in these fixtures. I saw other reviews talking about a streaking effect projected from the fixtures but didn’t realize it would be so pronounced. It is particularly noticeable on anything white, take out a sheet of paper and you will see a striped effect across the page that ranges from pure white to an off yellow. So, you can either deal with it or take the lens off so the led isn’t filtered which doesn’t look good. Too much work to take them all out.

Bright but the patterns embedded in the plastic covers cast these odd shadows and light patterns in the room. I would prefer the covers to have been smooth instead. I’ve taken a photo with a board beside it to show the exaggerated pattern it casts.

These lights are bright and a beautiful color to me!! I prefer the natural light vs warm light. I can’t stand yellow color of normal light bulbs and once you install these, you’ll change all your lights to this because it looks like daylight inside. Everything is just brighter and less dingy looking. Of course, it could also highlight areas you need to clean because you can actually see now. Lol I completely relamped a travel trailer for less than $100. Installation is easy, 2 wire nuts and a few screws. It does not perfectly line up with the old holes of the similar shaped housing, so you will be screwing in New holes on most, but 2 will line up, so I just put in those 2 to hold it while I installed the rest of the screws. Also amp usage on the entire circuit is less than 1 amp vs before was 5-10amp for incandescent lights.

Very bright lights! Don’t need to turn on as many of these compared to the old style that was in the camper. My only complaint is on the clear cover. It is designed to disperse the light but when it does, you can see different lines and patterns on the walls and floors. Not a big deal but it is something I do notice when I sit there and look around the camper.
