I purchased this little stove for backpacking trips. I have a small butane stove that I have used for years. It works great, however, I wanted a stove with a little bit larger pot stand area. This one fits the bill perfectly. It IS larger than the small folding stoves. But, if you do not mind the little bit of extra space that it takes up in your pack, then this stove is it. The larger surface area is nice, as it is a little more stable with larger 1.5 and 2L pots. I have also used the US Army style mess kit as a skillet on this. Works great.

I don’t go camping much but I am a military veteran. This thing is definitely awesome for the price point. I used it for the first time today and pan fried a steak and it wasn’t gourmet but definitely got the job done. Which what this is for. It’s for cooking food, boiling water at a time you don’t have access to a kitchen. To survive. Definitely worth the money vs buying an expensive jet boil. Now don’t get me wrong. In the long run a jet boil may last you longer. However this is good for the money. I’ll keep using it and provide an updated review.

I have now put this stove through an overnight mountain hike, a 4 night Maine camping trip, and a 4 night section hike of the Appalachian trail. It performed flawlessly! I used it for boiling water a lot and without timing it my guess is about 3 minutes to boil 2 cups of water, maybe less. The small pot used stayed put easily. I have also cooked bacon on a pan, and made eggs. The fairly large pan also stayed put easily. It is so light it barely added weight to my pack, about 3 ounces. On the 4 night section hike my son and I used this stove to boil water for two meals in the morning and at dinner. We used one 100 sized fuel canister. Very efficient. Buy this product with complete confidence!
Comes with attachments for both the butane mix and propane tanks.

Unstable with heavy pans. May be good for lightweight individual cooking. Controllable flame.

Very impressed! Purchased for a recent camp trip to a primitive site. It was 17*F out with a wind chill of 0*F. Was pretty windy, and even in that cold weather the little burner was able to heat up my water, and other items from a compact camping pot kit. Even with the wind, it was able to maintain a flame. I don’t feel like it produces as much heat as some more expensive options I’ve had in the past. But for the price it’s worth it 100%. I’d recommend and buy again if needed.
