I primarily bought this to use as a heater and its fabulous! Plenty of heat and I can tell it would work great heating food too. Would recommend.

Useful little stove, but a slight breeze impacts functionality. It needs a wind screen (easy enough to fabricate). I have not used it for heating, but plan too (using CO monitor). As long as you use appropriately sized cookware, the stove is stable and works OK. I do not like how the heater cage attaches and it can come loose easily. Do not expect much cooking from the “heat & cook” mode. It is more like a “heat & warm” mode. The cost of iso-butane cartridges is ridiculous these days. While this stove/heater comes with a coupon for a FREE, 1 lb. LPG canister adapter hose, do not expect it to be honored. I submitted the requested TEXT message, received a reply, followed the instructions provided… dead end. Never heard from them again. This stove would be a better value if the LPG adapter hose was included instead of promised. Do not expect much customer support.

Now with the COVID situation and outdoor dining becoming the norm at restaurants, I’ve brought this awesome little heater with me and sit it on top of the dining table, or to the local park for a picnic (of take-out food). The restaurant staff thought it’s the coolest thing ever. I thought they might be weary of it being a fire hazard or something, but I didn’t got any negative reaction like that!
First of all this thing is small, like about the height of a water bottle, so it’s nice and discreet to bring out. At the same time it’s incredibly powerful! When my wife and I sit across from each other and have this heater sitting on the middle of the table, it provides plenty of warmth for us. If there were 4 of us we’d likely need a second heater, with distancing in mind.
It lasts a surprisingly long time! It can use Butane, or IsoButane, or Propane, or even IsoPro (a mixture of the two). The 8oz (227g) net weight (aka 13.1oz 374g gross weight) gas canister ($5) can provide heat at full blast for at least 2 hours (I’ve timed it).
You’ll need a lighter or match to start this. Just shove the lighter through the cage and then turn the gas dial on the heater to maximum and it will light up instantly.
It has an adjustable flame – heat vs cooking. If you want a flame for cooking (because you can remove the cage and rest a frying pan or pot on this if you want), then move the little metal rod all the way to the right of the words “Air Valve” which you’ll see engraved on the metal near the flame. But if you want flame for heat, then move the dial all the way to the left. I found that even though it came with the dial all the way to the left, I still had to do a one time adjustment while the flame was lit where I moved the dial all the way to the right and then all the way to the left again in order for the proper flame to come out. But after that it was fine every time I used it (with no further adjustments necessary).
The air vent at the top of the cage should remain closed when using this as a heater (rather than using this for cooking). You may notice that the air vent rattles a bit because it’s loose. I went to the hardware store and bought an “External Hitch Pin” (3/16 inch in size) and then clipped that onto the rivet that holds the air vent in place (see attached picture). This tightened up the air vent and eliminated the rattling.
This heater comes with a mesh bag for transporting it, but I found an awesome (elegant) sewing bag to put it in.
When camping season begins I’ll be bringing it car- camping for heating and cooking. It feels stable enough to boil water in a pot, or use with a frying pan.
I really like this little heater!

I really like the stove/heater combo of the design. The stove feature works very well, gets hot fast and seems to burn evenly. Have yet to fully test the heater function. Overall the product is well made and easy to use. Its too big and bulky for hiking or backpacking, but great for car camping or for power outages/disasters.

Great little combo stove/ heater
Puts out surprising amount of warmth /heat when in that mode… used it on chilly morning in my tent on a side table with plenty of clearance… would not ever use while sleeping as it has flames of course. I also used it with my regular sized tea kettle to boil water for my instant coffee, so I could have my coffee without ever leaving my warm tent—-heavenly
