Amazon Customer –
Bought this as a back-up on sale, and STILL paid twice as much as a regular air mattress BECAUSE of the “Never Leak” claims made, but when I finally needed it, the thing just WILL NOT hold air. Fill it up, lay down, and wake up 2 hours later on the floor. YES, it fills rapidly, and YES, when it’s full, it’s relatively comfortable, but I did NOT pay double just to have to wake up & refill it every 2 hours. Amazon does NOT provide support on this, and EnerPlex “Customer Support” is a JOKE. I have left 5 messages in 3 days (because they NEVER answer), and I STILL have not received a single peep back. Save your money & buy a cheap one.

Here is what I love about a good air mattress, it is customizable if they are built right. An air bed should be able to be used firm or soft, this one allows both depending on how Much air you want to add. We bought the EnerPlex bed over the Sound Asleep which my sister had in the past, I must say, EnerPlex is a clear winner. Let’s take away the fact that it was literally only half the cost and talk about features on the EnerPlex air mattress.
Comfortable Flocked top – Check
Faster pump – Check
Better warranty – Check
Thicker PVC than leading competitors – Check
Doesn’t go flat – Check
Make sure you top off with air after you inflate it and before bed, the material is very thick and will stretch a bit.
In my opinion, this bed hit all the marks and was very comfortable, and price is spot on. With a 2-year warranty and a product of this quality I feel very comfortable with my purchase!

This bed did exactly what I needed it to do. Here is an overview of my thoughts on the entire experience:
Received the bed quickly after ordering. It came in a clean plainly labeled box and included a helpful user’s manual and spare patch kits. The inflation was very quick and easy to do, just turn the valve and press on. My guests slept on the bed, and said it was very comfortable. We did use sheets on it and regular queen sheets were no problem. Deflating was just as quick and easy as setting it up. It fit nicely in the storing bag that comes with it.
I really like the quality of the material that the bed is made out of. It feels sturdy and like it will last which is important to me. I also liked that the bed doesn’t wobble or tip when you get on and off of it. You can actually sit on it without it sinking in. I think that this is a very good purchase for the price, and I hope to not buy another air mattress for a very long time.

This is horrible! Just spent last 5 hours in acute respiratory distress, on the phone with nurses, needing inhaler and more. I just opened the package that I just received a couple hours before this. It is covered in mold. When I tried to peel open bed, thinking it tight due to vacuum closed, the mold was revealed and it spored in my face. It’s coated in some sort of odd moist substance as well. I’ve got compromised respiratory health issues and am having to quarantine from my partner due to pandemic and his higher risk job. So now I have nothing to sleep on but this mold covered air mattress, which obviously I’m not going to do. Now have to go to doctor’s to follow up and still coughing with migraine to boot. Unsafe!

I purchased this air mattress/bed after reading all of the positive reviews and I’m glad that I did. All the positive points were accurate; inflated quickly, good quality, etc. And, despite the few negative reviews about it not holding air, I can only say that those people must have gotten a defective product because not only did mine hold air for at least a couple of months, I even had to let a little air out at one point.
Now…as for the warranty. The 2 year warranty is the primary reason that I’m writing this review so that potential purchasers will know that they are not lying.
After close to 3 months, though it had held air that entire time, all of a sudden it began losing air to the point that it became completely deflated within a few hours. Try as I might, I could not find a leak, so…I called them on the phone to let them know.
Not only were they gracious, they kept their word about the 2 year warranty and sent me a new mattress!
Over the years I’ve noticed that people will clamor to write a bad review if they are unhappy with a product or service, but if they’re happy with the product they won’t take the time to write about their positive experience. I’m of the philosophy that if something is good, it’s only right and proper to acknowledge that, so I am.
Now…allow me to make a suggestion to the company/manufacturers…you need to make a version of this mattress WITH AN INFLATABLE HEADBOARD like some of the other air mattress companies do. Your product not having one is one of only 2 criticisms that I have about your product.
The first is that though you do indeed have the fastest built in pump to inflate the mattress, it’s also the loudest. Where I live there are other people who have to get up very early to go to work and when my mattress started losing air in the middle of the night I was to afraid to inflate it as I was concerned that the loudness would wake everyone up.
My second criticism is the headboard issue. As much as I love your air mattress, I will never buy it again unless you add the inflatable headboard option to some of them.
Every night I had to pick my pillows up off the floor because they would fall off the edge despite the fact that I had the head of the bed against the wall.
I’m now using an air mattress that does have an inflatable head board as part of the bed and the difference is like night and day. I sleep more soundly and am a lot more comfortable because I’m not waking up a number of times each night to retrieve my pillows.
I buy air mattresses on a continual basis and if you guys would make one with the head board option I would buy it repeatedly for the rest of my life.
Thank you.
