KONG made a very sturdy cooler. It is relatively small, holds about a 12 pack and 2 small bags of ice. It’s heavy though when full. It comes with a fabric strap, but you’ll want to carry it by the handles when full. Ice typically lasts 2 days. Unfortunately it’s not very big for bigger ice bricks or frozen gallon bags. It can hold one bag of crushed ice cubes poured over drinks, and one bag of cubed ice unopened laid on top.

Excellent ice retention. 3 day weekend and lots of ice left. 12 pack drinks and about 14 pounds ice. Would buy again. Not really sold on shoulder strap but will give time to get used to it.

I drive a lot in my job as a Home Health PT in Southern AL. I wanted to have plenty of cold drinks this summer and not have to put more ice in cooler every day. So this far it needs ice twice a week. So nice to note stop and buy cold water anymore. This thing is built extremely well and has better hinges than yetti. I got the small one but I would say it’s more than enough for 2-3 people on a one day outing.

If you’re looking for the absolute best cooler, then this is it. It is pricey for the size but it is built like a tank and extremely robust. I am an engineer and I can tell you it has been designed to be used for a very long time given the materials of construction. The insulation and ice retention is incredible. I have compared it to others coolers such as Yeti, Pelican, Rtic and this one blows them out of the water.
