This is a pretty great idea. I used it to make a table for my RV dinette. I mounted a slab of maple on it for a rustic table top with an epoxy resin finish. It worked out almost as well as I wanted. The bearings that allow the arms to pivot & rotate have a little too much tolerance so the table doesn’t stay perfectly level when the arm is fully extended. I’d give it 5 stars if not for that. All else is great.

I bought one. Installed it. Pounded on it, abused it, wiped it off, thanked the table gods that I found it. Bought a second one. Repeat…. May buy a third as these are very cool….
