This review is a little tricky for me. Usually I either love a product or hate it. I don’t love, or hate this mattress but it definitely has some pros and cons.
Pros:
• Fit perfectly in the back of my 2017 Subaru Forester.
• Stayed inflated for the duration of our camping trip.
• Folds up super small for easy storage.
•One way valves make it easier to inflate without losing air.
Cons:
• Doesn’t feel very durable.
• Not very comfortable, especially for two people.
• Time consuming to inflate due to the compartments.
• *The cord for the air pump is NOT long enough!*
I’m not going to return it, but I’m also not in love with it. There’s probably better ones on the market for a similar… or cheaper price point.

After scouring Amazon for a car mattress that would best fit my needs, I settled on the SAYGOGO air mattress. So far, I have been very glad that I did.
I drive a near coup-sized crossover, the AWD Nissan Juke. It’s fantastic in the city and surprisingly robust climbing up a mountain trail for campouts. Only thing is, being a small and sporty ride, it doesn’t have as much room to throw away. I needed a mattress that could be modified to fit my particular needs depending on my car camp setup. SAYGOGO has come through for me.
Like a standard SUV, I can drop down both backseats to sleep on or simply drop one side to utilize. SAYGOGO allows for this, even taking into consideration the 60:40 bench seat split.
If you find you have a cutoff drop where the headrest pillows inflate, the drop where rear passenger legs go, SAYGOGO has that covered too. My Juke is short, but by inflating the insert that tucks down between the front and rear seats, the drop issue is resolved.
The pump is very simple to use, and to my delight comes with both a car and regular outlet charger. For extra cord length, I utilized the wall adapter with a car inverter I own. So simple and effortless to use and inflate. Took only a few short minutes.
While seemingly made entirely of plastic, the pump appears to be built well enough to survive a tumble from the back of the car’s trunk. Very happy to report that.
The entire ensemble can be stored and carried around in a provided tote bag. Super convenient for packing and organization.
An equally important aspect is the comfort level of the product. SAYGOGO’s mattress was very comfortable to lay on. It supported me very well, kept me cozy and comfy the entire time I was car camping.
The final factor that may affect my review rating at a later time will be the longevity and wear with standard use.

This mattress fitted perfectly in the back of my Tiguan. The extra bolster came in very handy under the head and actually it was thick enough that I did not need the extra egg crate mattress, that I bought just in case it was not thick enough. Looking forward to many more happy camping nights.

I have a 2014 Subaru Forester. This mattress is wonderful. I originally had cut layers of foam to make the back sleepable, but some of the foam was super smelly so I’ve been looking for a replacement. I kept a few of those layers just to even out the surface and this mattress fits on top perfectly. The way it fills to fit the area is a big part of why it’s versatile. You’ll see that the inflatable floor board filler doesn’t quite make up for all the space behind the front seats of the Forester. I used foam and the pillows to bring it up to height. After trying several solutions over the past couple of years, this is a huge step up.
