Finding this pet carrier has been a relief. We are travelling for the first time with our dog and we’ve been struggling to find a carrier that TRULY meets the airline (Delta) dimensions requirements – which in our case was 9″ tall. A lot of carriers advertised as “airlines approved” on Amazon are actually not (check with your airline the specific requirements for the type of aircraft you’ll be travelling on). Our dog wouldn’t fit in tiny carriers made for toy breeds and anything larger available was too large for our Delta flight. We were really stressed out and this bag gives us peace of mind.
It’s also well made , well designed – it gives our puppy plenty of room when expanded.

Used this to fly my cat internationally and it worked like a dream! There is a luggage strap to attach to a roller bag which I didn’t realize when I bought it. That strap made it easy peazy to roll through huge airports, and fast! Cat did not escape and I loved that I could unzip the little tents on the side to give her some extra room on the flight. Only used for one trip so far so can’t comment a ton on the sturdiness. The tent zippers needed to be unzipped/zipped back before the first use with an animal.
Fit under the seat sideways on a Lufthansa international flight in case anyone is checking for that.
Overall a totally amazing carrier, well done!!

This carrier meets the regulations for a carrier in the cabin for Alaska Airlines. Our 9lb Yorkie fit comfortably in it for a long flight. It’s small to fit under the airplane seat but once you’re up in the air you can pull out the carrier and expand the sides for much more added space!

I searched for weeks trying to find a medium sized pet carrier that would be accepted by Alaska Airlines. Most medium carriers are 10.5 inches high, I needed 9.5 inches high. When I found your carrier at 9 inches high and the dimensions of 17 inches long and 11 inches wide, I was so elated. Not only did you have the correct dimensions, but you also had 4 sides that open up for extra room for kitty. Fabulous design. Thank you so much for your ingenuity.

I’m relocating. Last time I moved, I took my 3 cats on Jet Blue but they were considerably smaller. At that time I could not find a carrier that fit the Jet Blue standards so I ended up paying $50 for their approved carrier. Here I am several years later and my biggest cat is 18 pounds. He took up all the room in the Jet Blue carrier. So……..I ordered this item. AMAZING!. I flew with my 14 pound cat last October. I had a window seat and the area under the seat in front of me, would not fit the carrier in the direction that I expected. I had to slide my cat, butt first, under the seat so that her head was facing me. It worked though. I opened the popout door and she stretched out to her full length. I was able to open the side panel a little bit. I also purchased a small fan with a lithium battery from Amazon. I placed it on top of the carrier and held it at other times. (see pics) I definitely felt it helped circulate the air and kept her cooler. A winner! This is the only carrier that I could find at a 9 inch height which I believe most airlines require. I also like that you can access your pet through the popouts as there is a zipper on each of them! You will only get a 9 inch height under the seat and had I been in an aisle seat, the carrier would have fit in my preferred direction. UPDATE: I had no issues traveling with my 18 pound cat in January. I’m so glad to have the pocket that expands. The small lithium fan once again was a lifesaver. At one point he was panting. 13 pound cat will travel soon.
