I bought this bag because I’m tired of how difficult and awkward coolers are to carry, and I’ve always wanted a backpack one. The first time I used this, one If my water bottles inside leaked, and I had no idea because the bag never leaked! Not even a drop! I was so impressed. I love it. The size is perfect – for our trip to the beach it held all the water, sodas, and snacks for a family of four. I like that it has outside pockets as well, and even water bottle pockets on each side. I think it’s a great bag!

Love it so far. Just got it 3 days ago so that I can take the 4 and 2 year old to the beach by myself and it has already made my life so much easier. Went to the beach today with kids again-lugging my chair, their tent and beach toys. Putting the weight of the heaviest items on my back made the trek through the sand so much more bearable. Albeit I did not load it up with cans. 4 bottles of water. A few cut fruit jars. Dry snacks. Perfect for one adult and 2 kids.
Update, used this bag on/off throughout the summer going to the zoo, aquarium, park. It’s a great bag. Lightweight. I did not like my husbands backpack (uninsulated) because it didn’t quite meet the need. This does and even when we don’t have something that needs to be insulated, it is a good lightweight bag to carry around.

This is an awesome bag. You can fit two bottles of wine in it. Has great pockets and it doesn’t sweat. Update! Still going strong through a full summer of every weekend usage. Highly recommend this bag.

I read some of these comments and idk.. maybe it was a fluke incident that happened with their purchase, but ours was amazing! We use this backpack almost every day. We’re always hiking to new river spots and we love this backpack. We’re gonna buy another one. It’s light weight. It’s waterproof. We always fill it with ice and beverages and it holds the ice really well. It’s not as efficient at keeping the ice cold as their big black backpack. But it does the job. I love how lightweight it is and how many pockets it has. It even has a bottle opener on the side. It’s our favorite. One of the best things I’ve ever bought on Amazon. Seriously.

I’ve now had this backpack for a year. We beat the shit out of it. And it still works. No leaking. It’s dirty. But not broken or cracked at all. We love it and still take it on river trips and hiking trips or out on the kayak. It’s perfect!

1. I would say as long as you doing over pack it and make it too heavy, you shouldn’t have any problems with tearing. I over packed mine once, and made sure I didn’t sling it over one should really hard where it could tear or stress a shoulder strap. Take it easy on it while picking it up if heavy.
2. Since the bag is a vinyl waterproof material inside, although sturdy, I still put a towel/shirt around the top of my beer bottles just so the bottle caps themselves did not poke a hole in it.
Well made bag, plenty of space for dry stuff, phones, large waterbottles on the outside, etc. Highly recommend.
