This air mattress has an ingenious design – the air pump is contained within a pocket at the end of the mattress, in which it is connected for use. That makes the mattress a little bulkier when folded up, but means one less item to pack for a camping trip. Also, no need to fumble around connecting nozzles when setting up camp after dark. Just open the little hatch and push the “on” switch. The pump inflates the mattress quickly, but one caveat: it wouldn’t work with a half-discharged battery in very cold (45*) weather. (A more fully charged one had no problem.) The pump is also easy to remove for charging, and to deflate using the conventional valve. Most important, the mattress, at least after two camping trips, retains full air pressure. It did not get soft overnight. My previous air mattresses, after a couple of years and many uses, did get quite soft overnight. I have yet to see how long this one will stay leak-proof.

I just received this on March 3rd in preparation for a season full of camping road trips starting at the end of April. I unpacked it last night and charged the battery for the recommended 4 hours (left it plugged in overnight.) I did a test inflation this morning and was thoroughly surprised and pleased. It inflated the mattress completely in 1:17 seconds. When I say it inflated it completely, I specifically mean that it was firm enough for me at 235 lbs to crawl onto it on my hands and knees and then lay on my side (because I’m a side sleeper) without ever feeling the floor surface through the mattress.
I intend to use this in a tent on top of a camping cot and I am quite sure that it will serve well in that capacity. On a flat carpeted basement floor I didn’t collapse the mattress enough to feel the floor so I’m sure the camp cot surface will be ideal for some good sleep.
The ONLY reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I haven’t used it extensively yet and as a result, I can’t speak to the durability factor of the mattress. I’ll update the review at the end of the camp season to assess the durability of the product as well.

We bought this air mattress in August and it started leaking air in around October/November after daily use. It came with a 1-year warranty, so I contacted the company via Amazon and they were fantastic. They immediately agreed to send a replacement (which is what we requested) and it arrived in a few days. My husband (160 pounds) has been using it nightly since its arrival, so we will see (and hope) that this one is a winner.

I searched online for a long time and vacillated about which air bed to purchase. I wanted a twin because it’s just for me and my pug when I visit an aunt who has no guest room. I put one of those cheap foam things from Walmart on top of it with a twin sheet and slept like a baby. Every night for a week. I really liked it (my pug did too) and I left it there for my next visit. Stop searching and click the buy now button. Oh and the instructions were super easy and it inflated and deflated without any issue.

I do a lot of camping and have older kids. Airbeds don’t last. This thing is amazing in every way. It is clearly tougher than the average airbed but I don’t intend to put that to the test. It has a firmness and structural stability when inflated that others don’t. It doesn’t have that same squishy feeling. I am not sure how they did that but I would be fine sleeping on this all the time. The little pump is quiet and so easy easy to use. No cords. It FULLY inflates the mattress easily and quickly. I did the break in for a week where I kept adding air to get it to stretch before I judged that. The rechargeable pump gets rid of battery anxiety when camping. I always have a way to charge stuff. The bag is plenty big enough to get the deflated mattress back in even if you don’t fold it perfectly. The bag actually seems like it is well made and won’t rip apart like other products that cheap out on a bag that is too small. One final thing: the other brand seems to think that if you want a higher end mattress it should have built in pillows. I find that annoying because then it just interferes with my actual pillows. This thing is flat as any good mattress should be. It even has a proper Boston valve for manual inflating / deflating. The other brand with a built in pump requires you to inflate through the pump which seems kind of bad in terms of wearing out the fan blades. Whoever made this clearly had all the same issues I did with an air mattress and set out to build a better mousetrap. My one minor suggestion for an improvement: make the pump reversible on the switch so it will deflate the mattress as well.
