The stove burns really well. Good draw through the door. I think it will be fun to use. It folds up nicely and the pouch is a welcome touch. Removing the blue film was oddly satisfying at first. But then getting it out of all the little corners took away the fun. There are sharp edges so you will bleed trying to get it all. If I were to do it again I’d peel off the easy outside stuff then build a fire and burn the inside. Also I had to file down the ash tray opening in the lower corners to fit the tray. But I’m happy with it at this price.

Excellent value! This little stove is great for hiking camping Etc I got it as a backup for my propane stove just in case I run out of propane. It’s very well-built, great quality and I love that it comes with the little saw, the poker and canvas storage bag! Tested out today and I absolutely loved the ease of use. Tip: use the slow-burn tindersticks shown in the third photo for a longer-lasting, slow Burn for extended cooking time. I broke one stick in half and then broke that half piece in thirds, so I was able to make my coffee and a couple eggs for breakfast! The slow-burn tindersticks come in a 12 pack I got them offline at a Stix & Brix store $2 for the pack.

Got it today, so far looks good. I accidentally ordered the small one but I figured why not have both? 4 stars only because of how hard they made it to peel the blue tape off. I managed once I used a fork to push/pull the pins out of the joints one at a time to get the hard to reach spots.
I’ve noticed some reviews from other brands saying the tray doesn’t fit in the slot, even notching the slots so it fits. But these are just for the sides of the tray to rest on and the tray fits just fine from the folding side.
I plan to use charcoal in this on the weekend and if there is no change in my review, assume it works as it should.

Every square inch was covered with a very difficult to remove without cutting yourself blue plastic shrink rap type covering. I cut myself twice removing this stuff and it took over an hour to remove most of it and I still didn’t get it all. Given the wrap this stove is probably prone to rust at the hinges which do not appear to be stainless steel like the rest of the stove. I would not have bought this stove if I’d been aware of how difficult it was to remove the plastic from the stove.

Appears to be solid in construction and is very easy to set up.
However, it is completely covered in plastic film. This goes beyond what is necessary for protection during shipping. The entire item was covered in thick film BEFORE it was assembled. The seams were folded and panels riveted after it was covered in film.
After 30 minutes I had only removed about 10% of it from the flat areas.
There is film under every seam & rivet. Film surrounds every piece of the piano hinges. It is impossible to remove completely.
So I fully expect a complete mess whenever it is fired up. Not to mention the smell of burning plastic. Because of the plastic under the seams & rivets, I don’t think it will burn off.
And I contacted the seller almost a week ago & have had no response. Shame.
